20th Anniversary of Leamington Music

25 September 2026

This year marks the 20^th Anniversary of Leamington Music and the focus is on Polish and British-Polish artists including a Polish double violin premiere.

The Polish Ambassador was present at the Royal Pump Rooms In Leamington Spa for the Festival Weekend of music and addressed the guests before the Concert.

The Vice Lord-Lieutenant, Pal Sanghera, David Kelham DL and Sue Saunders DL attended the reception and a memorable concert given by the Cwizewicz brothers violin duo.

Leamington Spa has a significant Polish community.  Their centre in Leamington houses the Belveder, a volunteer-led community organisation providing humanitarian aid to Ukraine.  Leamington Music is supporting the work of Belveder CIC which purchases decommissioned vehicles from the UK ambulance service and drives them to the border in Poland, loaded with medical supplies, where they are collected by Ukrainian military.  So far nearly 70 ambulances have been purchased and driven to the border by volunteers.  Pal Sanghera has made the journey on four occasions, and several Deputy Lieutenants have also driven to Poland in the ambulances.
