Dunchurch 50th Anniversary Fete

On Sunday 28 June the Lord-Lieutenant officially opened the annual Dunchurch Fete, one of the village's most cherished traditions.

This year's fete was especially poignant as, whilst it was celebrating 50 years of the Fete taking place, it was also held in memory of Mike Judge, a member of the Dunchurch Festival Group committee, for his support to everyone in the community.

Two commemorative oak trees were planted on the day, one in memory of Mike Judge by his wife Pat and family, and the second on The Heath by the Lord- Lieutenant to celebrate the Fete's 50 years and strong community spirit.
