Porterbrook's Long Marston Rail Innovation Centre - Test Track Grand Opening

Following speeches, Lord Hendy, the Rail Minister, formally performed the ribbon cutting ceremony, and attendees were then invited to travel inside the Hydroflex train on its maiden journey around the test track loop.
The Centre is a world-leading facility for testing and maintaining rolling stock and for innovation and skills development. It is situated on a 135 acre site with the UK's only electrified loop enabling testing and finding solutions that make rail travel safer and more sustainable.
