The Resource Provision Dunnington Primary School

30th January 2026

On the 30th January 2026 the Lord-Lieutenant, Tim Cox, opened the Resource Provision The Oversely at Dunnington Church of England School for children with particular needs and vulnerabilities.

The aspiration is for children to potentially reintegrate into mainstream classrooms and avoid  entirely removing children from larger school communities which is another barrier to their return. 

With the help of the Local Authority, the Diocese and the hard work of the current school leadership team in September 2025 the dream became a reality. 

Tim was accompanied by his wife, Penny,  and the Lieutenant's cadets.
